Been inspired by this special day,I've decided to deticate one of my deviations to it.

A lot of us know that the Honor's spirit day is against bullying and especially bullying the ones who for one reason or another are different from the rest.(usually been refered to sexuality,but not only that).The theme colour of this day is been decided to be purple,the colour of spirit as they say(I thought it represented knowledge but ok).

Most of us may have suffered and experienced what bullying is,physically or mentally.What is more important is to remember about it not only one day per year,but all the days of the year,just like the rest of the problems we have in mind.Trying to prevent it is even better,but it requires a lot of efford and organisation.

Until the day that we may achieve and erase or at least minimize these kind of social problems,we have to keep on fighting against them,through all the material available.

As this is a deviation dedicated to it,I must say that it's quite symbolic,since different types of flowers grow up in the same place and a big one "hugs" them all.Among them,there are also herbs.If those flowers may have to symbolise those who are different from the rest and the herbs being the ones who usually are opposed to them(since herbs are "taking away" all of what other plants need from the ground),the idea and the ones that accepts them all is the ivy shaped plant with a lot of small flowers on it,showing that even the ones that are trying to be equal to both sides are different from the ones that are opposed.But,even the ones that are usually opposed may finally calm down for a while.This is all about loving and accepting what's different and not abandon it.Because,this is the nature's (and the mankind's) beauty.Everything is been allowed to set into bloom,but not all of them will be special to pick.

Lovely and once again you show so much wisedom in your thoughts, it's nice to know that ivy still accepts all others. We should all be more like Ivy and learn from natures ways. Jan:)

Indeed,if we were like that,the world would be a better place to live.People would be happier and things would go better.Nature is always wise.She welcomed us and we didn't show her respect.It's our fault.If we had learnt through her ways,we'd all be living in harmony.

Yes l agree, mother nature brings balance and harmony to life it is sad mankind/womankind cannot see through the veil. There is much conflict in the world which seems to bring such destruction. My favourite place is walking in the wild you can really feel nature at work through the wind , rain and sunshine. Jan:)

I agree with you with whatever you said.I hope that one day we may realise what's wrong before it's too late.
The place you've describe is one of my favourites,even if I don't get the chance to be in such a place very often.I'm wishing to get the opportunity and have a walk at such a place instead of the grey city I'm living in.:)
